Exposure Prevention System (EPS-3)

The SOMNI EPS-3 Exposure Prevention System is a self-contained, three-station vacuum scavenging system designed to actively remove waste anesthetic gases (WAG) from the anesthesia work area, helping reduce operator exposure and improve workplace safety.

• Self-contained 3-station flowmeter-controlled vacuum system
• Actively scavenges waste anesthetic gas (WAG)
• Integrated linear vacuum pump producing up to 45 LPM of negative flow
• Ideal for locations where active house vacuum is unavailable
• Individual stopcocks on each scavenging port for independent flow control
• Ports can be turned off without changing flowmeter settings
• Automatic shut-off feature (WG-15001 model only) to conserve power and extend pump life

System Configuration & Venting

• Designed for evacuation to a SOMNI W.A.G. Filter (WG-15003)
• Compatible with any non-recirculating hood or high-volume vent system

Available Models

• Pump Version
  Includes integrated vacuum pump and automatic shut-off functionality.
• Non-Pump Version
  Designed for use with an existing in-house active vacuum system. Functions as an interface valve, allowing facilities to precisely attenuate vacuum levels to their required specifications.
