Manifolds - Open Top Design
Manifolds - Open Top Design
EquaFlow™ Open Top Manifolds are lower profile, and have an open top nose cavern to reduce optical or X-ray obstruction of the head. The 5-mouse variant also offers a kit to stabilize mice in the supine position. The manifolds are comprised of optically silent plastic to enable optical imaging applications of up to 10 mice simultaneously. The manifolds integrate a patented hyper-branching architecture to ensure equal delivery of anesthetic gas to each port while simultaneously scavenging waste gas via peripheral vacuum ring. These manifolds ensure that all animals remain anesthetized during imaging and most importantly, that researchers and technicians are not subjected to noxious, gaseous anesthesia during imaging experiments. The advantages of EquaFlow™ Manifolds are tangible features developed by our staff of Imaging Specialists over many years of small animal imaging experience. Key highlights include:
- Reduced optical obstructions. Open top manifolds that do not block signals from mouth or head.
- Hyperbranched: Equal dose to each port.
- Ergonomic: Animals lay in natural position.
- Self-Scavenging: Integrated vacuum ring eliminates harmful waste gas exposure.
- Magnetized: Firmly grips to a benchtop base plate.
- Multi-Purpose: Use on bench top or within a macro optical imaging systems.
- Lower Flow: Hyperbranching enables lower flow rates relative to linear manifolds, thus reducing total reagent cost.
- Supine Stabilization Kit: Incudes Divider Cradles and a Manifold Cap that stabilizes the head of supine mice.
